If your playing a RPG, the one thing you might come across during your progression in any title is a rather attractive female. The Final Fantasy series is no different with females flying into your hero’s arms left, right and centre.

Continuing with our Top 5 Theme (See Bosses, Evil Antagonist’s), We’ve compiled our top 5 attractive Final Fantasy females (Final Fantasy VII onwards) which can be found below. Do you agree with our choices? If not who would you change in the list? (Please note this article contains Spoilers)

5. Rinoa Heartilly / Linoa (Final Fantasy VIII)
• Rinoa Heartilly (or Linoa in French) is the female protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII. She is best known for her trademark ‘Angel Wings’ which are printed on the back of her duster sweater and as such her ‘character symbol’ is a white feather that signifies the wings.
  Rinoa has layered black hair that reaches to the middle of her back. There are three caramel highlights on either side of her face that run through her hair. Her eyes are a deep dark brown and she possesses a slim, feminine figure.
  4. Aerith Gainsborough / Aeris (Final Fantasy VII)
  • Aerith Gainsborough, also known as Aeris Gainsborough, is one of the female protagonists in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. She uses a staff as her weapon and wears a pink ribbon in her hair. Having lived in the slums of Midgar for years, she has become street-smart, and has had to evade the Shin-Ra many times. She is portrayed as a independent, outgoing and kind young woman who displays an intuitive understanding of others at times.
    In Final Fantasy VII, Aerith wears a long pink dress with a slit up the front that buttons up. She also wears a red bolero jacket over this with metal gauntlets. She also wears brown boots and carries a staff as her weapon. Aerith’s hair, in all her appearances, is draw back in a thick braid with a large pink bow tied around it. Her bangs are segmented and frame her face on the sides, and she has bright green eyes. Aerith roughly keeps this appearance in Kingdom Hearts, but her jacket is absent. She also retains this appearance in Advent Children.
  3. Ashelia B’nargin Dalmasca / Ashe (Final Fantasy XII)
  • Ashelia “Ashe” B’nargin Dalmasca is a player character in Final Fantasy XII. She is the former Princess of Dalmasca and the only daughter of King Raminas. She is the last true descendant of King Raithwall, the Dynast King.
    Ashe was raised as the Princess of Dalmasca. She had a relatively easy life, but was raised with the duties and responsibilities of her rank. Married at the age of seventeen to Lord Rasler of Nabradia, both Ashe and Rasler understood that the marriage was intended to cement an alliance between Dalmasca and Nabradia against the conquering empire of Archadia. Ashe said that she was “willing to play her part” in the marriage, and despite the political nature of it, she did genuinely care for Rasler. She was widowed shortly afterward, when Rasler was killed at the siege of Nalbina Fortress.
  2. Yuna (Final Fantasy X)
  • Yuna is the female lead of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. She is the daughter of High Summoner Braska and an unnamed Al Bhed woman, who died when Sin attacked her ship at sea. The Al Bhed woman was the sister of Cid, who is the father of Rikku and Brother, meaning that Rikku and Brother are Yuna’s cousins.
    Yuna undergoes some radical changes in character and behaviour over the course of the Final Fantasy X games but at her core she is a very kind hearted, loyal, honest and polite young woman who strives to see the best in others and has a very strong conviction to complete whatever task she feels is her duty to perform.
  1. Tifa Lockheart (Final Fantasy VII)
  • Tifa Lockhart is a female protagonist in Final Fantasy VII. She is Cloud’s childhood friend from Nibelheim and a member of AVALANCHE. However, her personality is much more laid back and selfless in comparison, with a motherly streak concerning her friends and her attitude to others. Tifa is quick to hide her true feelings from people, and her shyness is a key aspect of her character, caring and loving to a fault. Tifa also owns a bar called 7th Heaven, located in Sector 7 of Midgar, which also serves as a hideout for AVALANCHE.
    Tifa is 5′4 with long black hair with brown highlights, reaching down past her waist and tied at the end in a distinctive dolphin-tail split. Tifa’s eyes have been depicted as red or brown in various appearances in games and concept art (though her official eye color is brown), and she wears white tear-drop earrings. She is portrayed wearing a sleeveless white shirt that bares her stomach with a short black miniskirt and a pair of black suspenders. Her body type is slim, deceiving given her great physical strength, and in Final Fantasy VII she has very large breasts, although since her original appearance they have been toned down to a somewhat more reasonable (realistic) size. This is Tifa’s attire in most of her spin-off appearances.
