Marketing boss Albert Pennello assured gamers today that Final Fantasy XIII’s appearance on the Xbox 360 is not because of money. Rumours have recently been circulating suggesting Microsoft “bought” the game to Xbox 360 despite previous confirmation from Square Enix claiming exclusivity to Sony.
With Square Enix recently abolishing Playstation 3’s Final Fantasy XIII exclusivity at E3 2008, they in turn declared war on Fanboyism. The fanboy’s Square Enix were interested in crushing were those who had a loyality to the Sony Playstation 3. And they did just that, with perhaps the most highly anticipated game of the 21st century; Final Fantasy XIII.

Although it seems extremely far-fetched could the new Final Fantasy installment, XIII, actually be a Final Fantasy VII remake for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360? The speculation supporting this idea can be read following.
Don't blame Microsoft or Square Enix for the loss of Exclusivity, blame Sony instead! The issue isn’t that Square Enix has “sold out” or betrayed their loyal fan base. The makers of Final Fantasy run a business and business isn’t as good as it could be if they’re releasing their titles exclusively for one console.
