FinalFantasySeries.net turns 12 weeks old

Congratulations first of all to all the site staff. Tomorrow Final Fantasy Series strikes 12 weeks old, but despite being so young the sites exposure of its quality and quantity has exceeded my highest expectations.

The site has been viewed globally over 831,752 times ranging from countries such as the USA, Great Britain, China, Singapore, the Philippines, Barbados and even Grenada. Our multimedia has been pasted on peoples social profiles, desktops and even walls.

However despite the amount of visits and views, I deem the quality of the work published on the site to be the greatest achievement. Although a large number of stories have been published between 6 people, Websites such as Wikipedia have been using our information to compile their encyclopedia. Not to forget various websites and communities such as Gamespot and Jeux France using our data to emit discussion and debate.

With Final Fantasy Series’ huge potential now confirmed I have no choice but to give the site greater financial backing. As a result a few surprises are set for the next few weeks.

Thanks to all the staff members and keep up the good work.

Site Updates: 26 May 2008

First of all welcome to the new theme of FinalFantasySeries.net!

This time we’ve decided to go a bit darker. The template we are using has been designed by WPThemeDesigner. Our influence for the colour scheme however was the highly anticipated Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Hense the dark blue and television effect banner. The best thing is it only took me part of yesterday to get it all sorted. And so far - so good, nothing has gone wrong.

The highlight however has to be just below the banner.

People often boast about how big their television is back home. We at FinalFantasySeries.net however now have something even more to boast about. Included on the site a brand new 920 by 250 pixels widescreen image scroller. This iconic piece is to Final Fantasy Series as what Times Square is to New York. Here various featured news stories will be highlighted and upon one click your’ll be taken to the content.

An other difference is the addition of an archives box on the right sidebar. Here it organises the published content into monthly categories.

If you experience any problems with the new theme please contact dean@finalfantasyseries.net or leave a comment to this post.

Again, just to remind you - A Final Fantasy Podcast is being planned to hit you this summer. If you, or anyone you know wants to be a part of this please contact me via dean@finalfantasyseries.net for more details and suggestions.

Positions for other staff jobs such as content writers, image designers and video designers are still open. If you are interested please click here for information on how to apply for a staff position on Final Fantasy Series. We look forward to recieving your application.

More changes should be hitting the site from now on right to the end of June so keep checking back.
