Star Ocean: The Last Hope has been stressed again by developers that:

there are currently no plans for a PlayStation 3 version.

This has left many gamers including myself puzzled over why the game hasn’t been given a PlayStation 3 release alongside the Xbox 360. The Star Ocean games have traditionally been given the PlayStation exclusive seal, with the latest Star Ocean’s; First Departure and Second Evolution appearing on Sony’s PlayStation Portable.

The only reason I can think of denying Sony from see-ing the title is external influence from Microsoft. This seems to be a recurring problem for Sony. It won’t be long till Mircosoft have everything at the way Sony are keeping their cash.
