Square Enix witnesses more disappointment in sales
-
With Final Fantasy IV DS’s poor performance last week in the software charts, Square Enix was hoping for a huge improvement this week. Disappointly it’s got much worse.
Final Fantasy IV DS has dropped from number 20 to number 28 in the Nintendo DS chart, and once again fails to appear in the all-formats. Meanwhile, Dragon Quest IV performed even worse, failing to reach the top 50 DS games, obviously not making the all-formats chart either.
If Square Enix wern’t suicidal enough, Infinite Undiscovery dropped off the all formats chart this week as well.

It’s honestly surprising to see these titles fair so badly, and completely unexpected. Gotta feel bad for them in this case, considering how good these particular games are.
For the record, I personally consider Infinite Undiscovery to be a genuinely decent, despite the less than average reviews the game received. It’s not FFXII, but its still damn good.
