Square Enix has announced that a Final Fantasy related game called Crystal Defenders, will be releasing on the iPhone this winter.
The game will be a map-based “defense simulation” that uses the iPhone’s touch interface.

Mixed reception on this news. I dont think Square Enix is really going to put a blockbuster on here. More likely to be testing out iPhone development considering the game is only a map-based defence simulation…
