September 2008 has been a busy month for FinalFantasySeries.net. By publishing 13 articles within the first 3 days FinalFantasySeries.net broke an overall count of 200 published articles since March 2008.

With a little help from the above, traffic to the site has been respectable despite a slight decrease during the latter days of the month.

For those new to FinalFantasySeries.net, If you want news straight away, the best way to keep up to date is by subscribing your email to our feed (on the right sidebar). By doing so, you will be sent an email newsletter every day listing the latest daily news.

Other than that, September has been an unusally quiet month. In October things are expected to pick up due to the Tokyo Game Show so keep checking FinalFantasySeries.net for Final Fantasy/Square Enix related news and articles.

Minor Bug in the system:
Just to let you know FinalFantasySeries.net hasn’t been ignoring your emails on purpose. Sadly FinalFantasySeries.net’s contact page has experienced a problem in delivering your email addresses along with your messages. This bug should be fixed by tomorrow with a small update on the theme. All emails sent after tomorrow should be replied to within 48 hours.

Theme Updates:
* Contact form now with senders name & email
* Fixed: Drop down menus fell behind the featured image on the News layout
* Font change on all h2/h3 tags
* New “double” border assigned in various places to maintain a clean look & feel
* “Related Articles” text changed to “Related”
* New image in place when there are no related articles to display
* Around a 50% speed increase on site load
* Removed the border on gravatar comments when disabled
* Default height assigned to related articles to maintain an even look
* Language file added to easily change hard coded text
* ionCube encoded to prevent further piracy
* Author.php now improved
* RSS Subscribe added to all categories
