The Senior Director of Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Ken Arawaka was interviewed by “TrendyNet” a website hosted by Nikkei and he mentioned that lots more will be revealed about the announced characters from the various Final Fantasy series like Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy VII at the Tokyo Game Show.

Another thing to look out for at the Tokyo Game show is the playable demo that will contain a few of the characters.
