If you were visiting us over the past two days you would have noticed things looking a bit odd on FinalFantasySeries.net, why? Well its all down to a new theme and features being implemented.

Final Fantasy Series is now being shown through the One-Theme. This theme helps simplify and enhance how the site is accessed and used by our visitors. The visual quality has to be the best around.

The most notable changes are following:
Index Page: New Logo/Changeable Header Image/Changeable Background, Latest Featured Artcles, Thumbnailed Articles, Subscription Sign Up, Hot Conversation - Displaying the four most discussed topics ever, Featured Video.
Single Page: Related Articles, Bookmarks, Tags.
    Comments: Gravatar enabled, Numbered.
    Other: Contact Form, Tidy Sitemap.

Obviously some areas of the site might still be a bit sketchy due to work still undergoing around. So please be patient and not too disappointed if one does show.

The main change to effect our users is the Gravatar Enabled comments. In order to have an avatar next to your comment, you must assign a Gravatar to your commenting email address. Clicking here will take you to the Gravatar site, simply follow the instructions and after a few minutes of assigning an Gravatar to your email address, your image should appear next to your comment.

Secondly you can now subscribe your email to recieve RSS upates from FeedBurner. You will therefore be notified of the most recent news before anyone else.

Thridy I’ve reorganised Final Fantasy Series’ catergories. This will hopefully make it easier for users to find what they want quicker and easier. The newest/upcoming games will get their own catergory - ie. XIII, Dissidia, Crisis Core. And the past Final Fantasy games will be moved into the “Final Fantasy Series” catergory. Sub-Catergories may exist depending on the extent of the coverage. ie. XIII is split into XIII Interviews & XIII Images.

You may be asking at the moment “Why the change?”

Well FinalFantasySeries.net has expanded quite alot over this Summer season. Currently FinalFantasySeries.net has a respectable google page rank of 3, an Alexa rank of 186, 681 and finally a Complete rank of 505,321. Hopefully the site changes will improve this as well as the traffic inflow of valuable Final Fantasy fans.

And just to add if you have any questions please visit the “FAQs” section found under the “About Us” tab.

    Thanks for visiting!
