Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 Version to hit Asia
-
During the shock announcement of Final Fantasy XIII sharing platforms at E3, developers were still unsure whether Asian Xbox 360’s would recieve the same treatment as their North American and European counter parts.
However we now understand a Xbox 360 version of the game will be avaliable in Taiwan and other Asian countries. This announcement was made by Grace Chou, the head of Microsoft Taiwan’s Entertainment and Devices Division, at a recent Microsoft game exhibition in Taipei.
Square Enix/Microsoft still haven’t yet decided which localised version will be launched for the rest of the Asian territories.
Chou imagined that it should be possible for Japanese Xbox 360 owners to import the Asia version and play it on their consoles - that is, unless the Asia FFXIII is region coded so that’s impossible. This version could have the original Japanese language track with Chinese/Korean/English subtitles or it might be the English language version with Chinese/Korean subtitles.
