The North American website for the upcoming Final Fantasy 4 DS remake has finally been updated and a trailer amongst the new additions! The trailer is a subtitled version of older promotional footage, which has been tied together to make the video you can see here.

Final Fantasy XIII is coming to Xbox 360!

Yoichi Wada has announced that Final Fantasty XIII is coming to the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 version of the game will be released the same day as the Playstation 3. No doubt Final Fantasy Versus XIII will follow suit.

Final Fantasy XIII to hit Xbox 360?

The question on many Final Fantasy fans lips is when, rather than if Final Fantasy XIII will hit Microsoft’s Xbox.

Personally I believe Final Fantasy XIII and its later games will hit sooner rather than later.
Why? - Well you just have to look at how popular the series has become. The Final Fantasy franchise is currently positioned 4th in the best selling video game franchise’s table with an estimated 80 million sales. Mario (200 million), Pokemon (165 million) and The Sims (98 million) all sit above respectably.

Created by Hironobu Sakaguchi and owned by Square Enix. Final Fantasy includes twelve main released video games and a number of spin-offs — mostly role-playing games, motion pictures, and other merchandise. These games have appeared on various platforms under a Sony/Nintendo relationship. However since the dawn of Microsoft in the console’s war, their Xbox hasn’t been a walkover.
Microsoft’s latest console, the Xbox 360 has been sold an estimated 18 million times, while Sony’s PS3 has only managed a small 10.5 million. Nintendo’s Wii surprised everyone selling a huge 20.13 million. This is proberly all down to its intensive advertising schemes.

Although Square Enix claim Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII will remain a PS3 exclusive, we can only question why?! The obvious reason is graphics, however the Xbox 360 isn’t that far behind. After all the Nintendo DS has achieved many popular Final Fantasy releases, and more are on the way. I therefore suspect that the Xbox 360 will achieve a spin off title around 2011 that is part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII series.

Square Enix as a result of allowing Final Fantasy to grow even more will gain more fans, and more importantly - more cash!

Don’t be surprised if rumours start flying around about a Final Fantasy XIII title hitting the Xbox 360 earlier this decade.

Final Fantasy XI has hit Xbox 360,so this is a real possibility!

Square Enix usually is good about making sure that it stays the way it wants until maybe 3 years later. If it does go to Xbox 360, it will probably take 2 years to go to that console.

I don’t know about you, but I definitely don’t want to wait even 1 year to play this game if I knew it was coming out tommorrow.
