According to Amazon, Final Fantasy XIII (Playstation 3) is now avaliable for pre-order and will be released on 30th April 2009. Final Fantasy XIII’s (Playstation 3) RRP is published as £49.99, with Amazon selling it for £39.98 (£10.01/20% less). It’s unknown whether Amazon will be asking the same price for the Xbox 360 version of Final Fantasy XIII.

Previously IGN published Final Fantasy XIII will be avalible this year in 2008, however that rumour looks highly unlikely, unless Square Enix can magic it up in the next few months.

Can lightning strike twice in this case? Or is it just pure speculation by Amazon?
