Famitsu Magazine has recently hinted that:

Final Fantasy XIII is set to hit retail store shelves on both sides of the Pacific sometime later this year.

With Famitsu commenting ‘both sides of the pacific’, rather than ‘Worldwide’ many fans have been questioning the autheticity of a possible 2009 Worldwide reason.

Other questions include whether the game will be released Worldwide for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 at the same time.

Hopefully Square Enix can mention something on this topic in the upcoming weeks.
