Final Fantasy XI Cheat Statistics October 2007 vs 2008

Play No Evil have recently compared October 2007 & October 2008 statistics Square Enix has released of cheaters on Final Fantasy XI.
Is there any difference?
Square Enix have certainly stepped their game up concerning termination/suspension of accounts in October. Over 1000 more accounts this month have been terminated compared to last year, with over 300 being suspended.
The enhancement of circumvent game mechanics has dropped by 10 cases to 40 this year, whilst the use of cheats has increased substaintially which proberly explains the rise in account termination/suspension.
Overall some figures are showing promise, with Square Enix taking down wrong do-ers. However its still early days before all illegal activities are abolished.

2008 - 7,060 PlayOnline accounts were terminated. 1,520 accounts temporarily suspended.
Additionally, Square Enix have increased the number of mass bannings against certain PlayOnline violations in order to prevent illegal acts.2007 - 6,750 PlayOnline accounts were terminated. 1,150 accounts were temporarily suspended.
