According to the video game sales tracking authority in the UK, Chart Track, Final Fantasy IV DS has failed to take the “all formats chart” by storm during it’s first week of release in the UK.

The game failed to enter the top 40 in the “all formats chart”, and only managed a disappointing 20th in the DS chart. It’s predecessor, Final Fantasy III DS, entered the DS chart at number 3 upon it’s release.

Although witnessing a poor first week, Square Enix expect Final Fantasy IV DS sales to pick up in the following weeks. If that fails Square Enix still have Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen to help lift spirits.
