Square Enix has announced that it will publish Disgaea DS in Europe and other PAL territories within Spring 2009. Incidently Square Enix announced a new game called; Rhapsody ~A Musical Adventure~ will be released in Europe during Spring, 2009 as well.

Disgaea DS is an edited version of the classic Strategy RPG Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, previously only available on the PlayStation 2.

John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments:

“I am delighted that we are able to bring Disgaea DS to players in Europe and PAL territories. Nippon Ichi has created a game perfectly suited for portable play that will entertain and challenge in equal measure.”
